Ingredients:
200g (2 cups) of plain flour
300ml (2 cups) of water
100g (1 cup) salt
1 tbsp of cooking oil
A few drops of food colouring (optional)
3 tsp of cream of tartar
Method:
- Add ingredients to bowl
- Whisk to a smooth consistency
- Pour into a saucepan and place on a low heat
- Stir continuously for 3 - 4 minutes until stiff
- Remove from heat and continue to stir until a ball forms
- Turn out onto a board and allow to cool
- Knead
